Websites fore-commerce & retail brands.
There is a point where a Shopify theme stops being a shortcut and starts being a ceiling. You want a product page that works the way your product actually sells, and instead you are fighting a theme, four apps that each add 200ms of load time, and a checkout you cannot touch. Headless is the answer to that specific problem, and it is a bad answer to almost every other one. If you are doing $4,000 a month on a clean theme, you do not need this yet, and we will tell you.
The pattern
Where these siteskeep going wrong.
App bloat is killing your load time
Every app injects scripts. Six apps in and your product page takes four seconds on mobile, which is where the majority of your traffic is and where conversion falls off a cliff.
The theme fights your brand
You are making design compromises because Liquid will not do what you want. Your storefront looks like every other store running the same theme.
Mobile conversion is quietly bleeding
Most brands never audit the mobile funnel properly. The gap between desktop and mobile conversion is usually where the missing revenue is hiding.
You cannot ship fast
Every campaign needs a developer. Landing pages take two weeks. The store cannot move at the speed of your marketing.
What we build instead
Built for howyou actually sell.
- Headless storefront on Next.js, decoupled from Shopify themes, with Shopify still handling checkout, inventory, and payments
- Product pages designed around how your product actually sells rather than around a theme’s constraints
- Aggressive performance work: image optimization, code splitting, and killing the app scripts you do not need
- Structured data for products so your items are eligible for rich results in search
- Subscription, loyalty, and advanced filtering when the catalogue justifies it
FAQ
Questions,answered straight.
Do I actually need headless?
Probably not, and that is a genuine answer. Headless makes sense when theme constraints or app bloat are measurably costing you revenue, usually past a certain volume. Below that, a well-optimized theme is faster to ship and cheaper to run. We would rather tell you to stay on a theme than take a build you will regret.
What does a headless Shopify build cost?
During our launch offer, $500 up front (normally $1,000) plus a $100/month store care and growth retainer locked for 12 months. Agencies commonly quote $6,000 and up for comparable work. Add-ons like subscriptions or a loyalty system are priced separately.
Do I keep Shopify checkout?
Yes. Shopify still handles checkout, payments, inventory, and your admin. Headless only replaces the storefront layer, which is exactly why it is a manageable change rather than a replatform.
